IP68 wall-mounted boxes for splitter and distribution with 16 FTTB outputs
The COFITEL Group presents two new terminal or distribution boxes that can be used as an access element to buildings in fiber optic networks, and can be installed on a wall or pole.
The GPJ09-8205 model has four trays for twenty-four splices each, while the GPJ09-8205-S version includes two trays for twenty-four splices each and a 1x8 splitter module (two-module option).
Both wall boxes, with IP68 watertightness rating, allow the couplers (sixteen SC), the splices (ninety-six in four trays - GPJ09-8205 or forty-eight in two trays GPJ09-8205-S) and two splitters (1x4, 1x8 or even 1x16 for the GPJ09-8205) to be housed in their separate compartments.
They also have one input for branch cable from 10 to 17.5 mm in diameter, two outputs for cable from 8 to 17.5 mm and another sixteen outputs for cord up to 4 mm.
The boxes are supplied as a complete set, consisting of a wall mounting kit with plates, expansion anchors and screws, two nylon clamps, plastic nuts for service entrances (and tightening wrench), service entrance plugs, a splice tray cover, a 0.2 m protective tube, a roll of insulating tape, a 0.5 m EVA tube, an M6 Allen wrench, cable glands, plastic connectors, and a metal wrench. The GPJ09-8205-S also integrates up to two 1x8 PLC splitter cassettes.
And, to meet any type of application requirement, GRUPO COFITEL offers various optional components, such as pressurization valves, splitters, and pole mounting elements.
Made of black, UV-resistant plastic material, these watertight boxes measure 380 x 245 x 130 mm, weigh (empty) 5 kilograms and operate in the temperature range of -40 to +65 °C.
It is closed by means of a hinged lid with a hermetic seal and key.
