The three available industrial-strength MIPP patch panel options are:
• MIPP Fiber Splice Box, designed to terminate various types of fiber cabling in a wide range of industrial applications. A single MIPP Fiber Splice Box can terminate and patch up to 72 fiber cables.
• MIPP Copper Patch Panel for both Industrial Ethernet and PROFINET networks. Using Belden's MIPP panels and DataTuff patch cords, copper cables can be terminated and connected to active equipment in an organized and structured manner. One MIPP Copper Patch Panel can terminate and patch up to 24 copper cables.
• For networks that use both fiber and copper cabling, MIPP Mix integrates the connection of the two cabling infrastructures into a single solution. This combination of copper and fiber ports can include up to six modules per device.
MIPP panels are constructed from lightweight, high-strength aluminum. They are UL 1863 certified.
