Each CDI-VF45 cable, compatible with VF45 connectors, is constructed with 4 to 24 duplex optical fibers sized to 900 microns, aramid yarns as the tensile strength element, and a thermoplastic LSZH outer jacket.
Options include PVC or polyurethane (PU) outer jackets and a special color code (TIA 598) to meet any application requirement. Key features of these cables include direct connectorization, flexibility, easy stripping (gel-free), flame retardancy, low smoke emission, and halogen-free (LSZH) construction.

Among the technical specifications of the CDI-VF45 adjusted cables, depending on the number of fibers (from 4 to 24), are: diameter of 4.6 to 6.7 mm, weight of between 19 and 39 kg/km, maximum installation tension of 700 to 1000 N, maximum permanent tension of 400 to 600 N and operating temperature range of -5 to +60 °C.
