These unarmored cables consist of a core filler (GRP), optical fibers, gel-filled tubes, ripstop yarn, aramid yarns as the tensile strength, and inner and outer sheaths of linear low-density polyethylene. To meet a wide range of requirements,
reinforced glass fibers are available as tensile strength elements.
The fully dielectric PKP models are characterized by a robust and durable design, high fiber density, and excellent mechanical and friction resistance.
