ABD cables are constructed with a central element (GRP), between 24 and 144 optical fibers, between six and twelve gel-filled tubes, and a black polyethylene outer jacket. LSZH or PA12 jacket options are available to meet a variety of application requirements.
These compact and robust cables are fully dielectric and feature a low coefficient of friction, making them ideal for blow-up applications.
Other characteristics of these distribution cables with twelve optical fibers per active tube include: an operating temperature range of -40 to 70 °C, a weight of 29 to 72 kg/km, and a maximum continuous tension of 500 to 1500 N.
