Each ADSS-80 cable consists of a core filler (GRP), optical fibers, six or eight gel-filled tubes, an inner polyethylene sheath, aramid fibers, ripstop yarn, and a black polyethylene outer jacket.
This all-dielectric cable is characterized by its high mechanical strength, robustness, and high fiber density to meet the requirements of any aerial application.

The ADSS-80 cable, which has an operating temperature range of -40 to +70 °C, is also distinguished by an impact resistance of 5 J, a MAT of 3000 N, an EDS of 1200 N, a weight of 113 to 179 kg/km, and an outer diameter of 13.1 to 15.7 mm.
Thanks to its design and characteristics, the ADSS-80 cable can be used in spans of 60 to 100 meters, as it withstands winds of up to 100 km/h and the presence of ice.
