Fluke Networks unveiled LinkWare™ Live at the BICSI Fall Conference & Expo, the first cloud-based service that allows contractors, cable installers, and project managers to use the Versiv™ certification tester family to upload, manage, and analyze certification test results for cabling projects anytime, anywhere. LinkWare Live works with the DSX-5000™, OptiFiber® Pro, and CertiFiber® Pro certification testers to streamline project management and safeguard contractor profitability by providing real-time access to test results, extending support to field technicians, and eliminating costly truck trips just to transport testers back to the office. LinkWare Live is a free service available to all Versiv customers. Launched in English, versions in other languages will be available in January 2015.
By regularly uploading tests to LinkWare Live, project managers can avoid unnecessary trips just to collect results, prevent data loss, and continuously track project progress. LinkWare Live also automatically organizes test results by job, eliminating the tedious task of manually merging files from different testers.
