FiberComplete PRO offers guided and automated referencing for MPO test leads. This eliminates the risk of human error with animated icons guiding the user through the referencing process, reduces setup time, and increases the accuracy of results with integrated IL and ORL references for MPO test leads.
This software update ensures compatibility with high-fiber projects that integrate Cable-SLM and an MPO switching module with FiberComplete PRO (without the need for separate spreadsheets). It also supports fiber counts up to 9996 (833 x 12MPO).
Thanks to this compatibility, it's possible to shorten test times for multi-fiber and MPO bundles with automatic bidirectional test sequencing (including TrueBIDIR OTDR analysis) without manually switching between fibers. This allows professionals to benefit from a cable view and SmartGrid displaying pass/fail status.
The software also features an MPO polarity mapper to prevent wasted test sequences by mapping and confirming the MPO polarity of a link (A, B, C) before testing begins. Furthermore, it enables the reprocessing of multi-fiber and MPO links while the technician is still on-site, avoiding future visits.
In OTDR applications, it provides compatibility with the data center's interconnect fiber type and simplifies configuration with new predefined specifications for G654E fiber.
The main features of FiberComplete PRO are complemented by the option to protect the test instrument with a PIN code, so that in case of loss or theft, it is securely locked and prevents access to the stored information.
A real-time view of the work can also be provided via the Mobile Tech app.
FiberComplete PRO can be uploaded directly to the StrataSync cloud system or via the VIAVI website.
