Viavi T-BERD/MTS-4000 V2 for testing fiber optic networks
The COFITEL Group presents the new T-BERD/MTS-4000 V2 platform from VIAVI, an "all in one" solution that aims to help professionals in all phases of a fiber optic network: installation, activation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
This compact (1.4 kg) solution supports VIAVI's wide range of fiber optic tools, including Optical Spectrum Analyzer (OSA), OTDR, Bidirectional Insertion Loss/ORL, Light Source, Power Meter and Connector Inspection.
The T-BERD/MTS-4000 V2, which has a 9” multi-touch screen with permanent function keys, provides a dual-input platform with field-replaceable modules (compatible with T-BERD/MTS 2000, 4100 and 5800 modules and MA2, MA3 and MP2 OTDR).
It is a portable tool that is also characterized by its flexible connectivity through Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth and the ability to generate reports via PC/laptop (FiberCable SW suite) and StrataSync.
Therefore, it offers engineers, technicians, and installers higher levels of performance, scalability, and upgradeability than any other alternative on the market.
This platform, which is backed by a three-year warranty, can be used in FTTH/PON, CWDM & DWDM, DAS, C-RAN, 5G, Enterprise & Data Center (Tier 2 – OTDR & MPO switch) and Access and Metro Core (10G, 40G, 100G – OTDR & C-OSA) projects.
