CCT cleaning kits come with an MX Precision Cleaning Pen. Moisten the CCT cloth tip with the MX pen, insert the CCT tip into the connector, and push into the tool with one click to advance the cloth from wet to dry, thoroughly cleaning the front face. Combination Cleaning™ removes all residue and contamination the first time, preventing costly rework and poor connections. The Combination Cleaning™ tool is industry-proven, exceeding IEC 61300-3-35, IEC TR62627-01, and meeting Telcordia GR-2923-CORE and SAE Aerospace AIR 6031 standards.
FOCCUS CCT tips are precisely sized to clean the entire end face in a single pass. Separate tools are available for 1.25 mm MU and LC connectors, 2.5 mm FC, SC, and ST connectors, and MPO connectors. They are also available in cleaning kits, which include a FOCCUS MX Precision Cleaning Pen for combination cleaning.
Each tool has a protective cap that can be opened or removed for cleaning patch cord connectors or backplanes. The cleaning tip can be extended for hard-to-reach connectors. A wrist strap prevents drops during installation or field maintenance, and a magnetic strip allows for easy access to data racks.
