KEL cable glands allow the passage of cables with connectors at both ends. Rubber inserts grip the cable for subsequent mounting in frames. This assembly allows for protection ratings up to IP65. Furthermore, the system withstands cable tension according to EN 62444, the same standard applied to cable glands. This series offers a wide variety of sizes to accommodate from 2 to 60 fiber optic cables with connectors, with cable diameters starting at 2 mm. Cable replacement is simple: just remove the insert holding the cable to be replaced.
Conversely, if space is at a premium, the KEL-DPZ24 and KEL-DP cable glands allow for the passage of unconnected optical fibers in a minimal space. The KEL-DPZ-24/121 cable gland allows for the passage of up to 119 fibers with diameters between 1.5 and 2.6 mm in a space of only 147 x 58 mm, offering IP66 protection. The KEL-DPZ 50/78 gland, in a circular format with an M50 mounting thread, allows for the passage of up to 76 cables of the same diameter as the previous model, further improving protection to achieve IP68 protection.
