The company has provided the university with a model of a structured cabling system for testing, located in the Polytechnic School on the Cuenca Campus, for both teaching and research purposes.
The agreement, signed by the Vice-Rector for Transfer and Business Relations at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Pedro Carrión, and by R&M representative Paulo Campos, underscores the regional university's objective of integrating information and communication technologies into university activities in order to increase its overall efficiency.
The collaboration between the two institutions will also facilitate workshops and seminars to promote the use of new technologies. Furthermore, an agreement has been reached to implement training courses that will allow UCLM members to update their skills and obtain professional certifications from the manufacturer. Additionally, a training project has been finalized, consisting of an external internship program for a student from the Polytechnic School.
The event was also attended by the director of the Polytechnic School, César Sánchez, and the technical director of R&M, Juan Pablo Muñoz.
