The announcement coincides with the general availability of a new KEMP SCVMM (System Center Virtual Machine Manager) plugin, which provides simplified provisioning, deployment, and management of application delivery services.

With the availability of the KEMP LoadMaster plugin for System Center Virtual Machine Manager, cloud infrastructure administrators can leverage KEMP load balancer entities in SCVMM service models. The LoadMaster plugin for SCVMM uses the LoadMaster REST API (LMAPI), which enables the programmatic deployment of application delivery elements that help shorten time to market for mission-critical business applications. SCVMM service models are a collection of virtual machines and services deployed and managed as a single entity within the VMM environment, significantly reducing overall administrative overhead. The plugin allows for the automatic creation and management of LoadMaster Virtual Services from within the System Center environment, as well as the configuration of key load balancing options, such as session persistence and scheduling preferences.

With LoadMaster working as an application load balancer, global website load balancer, web application firewall, and reverse proxy, users are able to securely scale and publish internet-facing application services such as Microsoft Lync (LoadMaster is also certified for Skype for Business), Exchange, SharePoint, and other workflows hosted on Microsoft Azure.
