WEOZ™ meets the requirements of the new European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), a set of standards designed to improve the energy efficiency of buildings in the European Union, with the goal of achieving a fully decarbonized building stock by 2050. As part of this directive, a series of standards have been introduced for calculating the energy efficiency of buildings. Specifically, the new standard EN ISO 52120-1, which replaces the old EN 15232-1, focuses more specifically on the assessment and classification of building automation systems (class A, B, C, D). With WEOZ™, you can achieve class A or B and qualify for the Energy Saving Certificate (EAC), a system that incentivizes investment in energy efficiency measures in buildings.

Legrand's WEOZ ™ solution is compatible with all Airzone solutions. The current offering includes its Aidoo range, a set of devices that allow you to connect and integrate single-zone air conditioning units and manage all equipment centrally. Specifically, Aidoo Z-Wave allows you to convert an existing direct expansion unit into a Z-Wave device. This plug-and-play solution is compatible with leading air conditioning manufacturers for controlling individual indoor units. Also included is Aidoo Pro Fan Coil, a solution for all types of fan coil units (2/4 pipe, ON-OFF, 0-10 V) and zoning systems for more sophisticated solutions that combine different types of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. These Airzone solutions enable the creation of scenes that can combine active climate control (turning air conditioning units on and off) and passive climate control (operating in conjunction with lights and blinds), increasing energy savings. Together with climate control systems, the WEOZ ™ solution , using Legrand's new Light Up sensor range, allows for the collection of occupancy data for each room, ensuring accurate people counting. It also gathers environmental data on temperature, humidity, and noise levels in each space. Furthermore, Legrand's energy metering range (EMDX3, EMSCX3, Smart Electrical Panel) and its range of connected switches and sockets (Valena Next with Netatmo) enable the collection of data on the consumption of individual circuits (HVAC, lighting, etc.) or power outlets within a space. Regarding lighting control, Legrand's range of smart switches and sockets (Valena Next with Netatmo) with presence/absence mode allows for the use of natural daylight and the control of blinds with a wireless switch. The Legrand WEOZ ™ solution enables the control of all building systems and installations from the Building Manager portal or its app, Building + Manager, compatible with Android and iOS.
