Everynet will provide the network and facilitate specific solutions across various business sectors. These solutions will be modular and configured for easy use—plug and play. They will address diverse areas such as smart buildings and cities, agriculture, and logistics. Local operators will contribute their extensive network coverage and the identification of areas of interest. The goal is to break down any barriers to IoT adoption by offering practical solutions for the end user.

LoRaWAN is the globally adopted open standard for IoT connectivity, a protocol that enables wireless interconnection between devices using low-power networks and covering a wide area.

The association's CEO, Gonzalo Elguezábal, highlighted that this agreement will promote the digitalization of rural areas through specific value-added services that will improve management in towns, livestock farming, and agriculture.

“We are in the age of data and sensors, and this technology can help boost the development of small and medium-sized towns. The advantage of this network is that it allows interconnection between devices by sending small data packets, without depending on a conventional mobile operator's connection and without large and complex infrastructures.”.

For his part, Lawrence Latham, Chief Executive Officer of Everynet, said he was very pleased "to expand our offering in the Spanish market with Aotec. Our agreement will facilitate innovation and add value for our users in Spain in numerous areas, from public services to smart buildings, agriculture, and industry.".

With this agreement, Aotec consolidates the development and deployment of LoRaWAN solutions throughout the country. For Everynet, this agreement expands its reach in the Spanish market, enabling it to better serve end customers.
