Introduced at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference (OFC), Chroma Link offers a comprehensive connectivity approach that transforms how data centers deploy and manage the exponential fiber growth required for 800G and higher applications.
As AI workloads increase connection density, traditional patching methods have become a critical bottleneck. Currently, deploying a single high-density application can take up to a week due to the complexity of manually tracing each connection. Chroma Link eliminates this inefficiency by enabling technicians to follow colors instead of cables.
It is the first solution on the market with a patent-pending color-indexing system that spans the entire ecosystem. Color-coded ports match cables and harnesses, enabling rapid identification of routes from server racks to leaf and spine switches, simplifying increasingly complex environments.

According to Sabrina Snyder, Vice President and General Manager of Data Infrastructure at Legrand, this solution redefines fiber management by providing visual clarity, reducing human error, and significantly accelerating installation and maintenance times.
Key features of Chroma Link
: Turnkey solution: Includes all the necessary components for rapid installation
. High density: Up to 2,304 fibers in 1RU and 4,608 in 2RU.
Advanced connectors: Uses SENKO's SN®-MT connectors with higher density per port.
Fast installation: Simultaneous connection of up to 64 fibers.
Standardized security: Compliant with the TIA-598-D standard.
Chroma Link is initially launching with single-mode capabilities, with multi-mode versions planned for the near future. Legrand and SENKO will jointly present this innovation at OFC 2026.
