The solution includes Geotab's plug-and-play real-time fleet management device, which allows users to create alerts and notifications, review driver trips, and generate activity reports. Advanced features also include on-board diagnostics that analyze engine data to report engine faults or provide detailed descriptions of engine error codes. It can also detect accidents, determine their cause, and integrate with other accessories such as navigation devices, NFC driver keys, sensors, and more.
 
This technology will help companies improve their on-route productivity, road safety, and energy efficiency, as well as optimize fleet performance by reducing fuel consumption. Fleet managers will have more data about their vehicles and key information to make real-time decisions. Drivers will also have more information about the vehicles they are driving.
