Under the build, operate, and transfer agreement, NSN will deliver an LTE network utilizing its high-performance Flexi Multiradio 10 Base Stations and Evolved Packet Core (EPC) to assist Avantel with the unprecedented increase in data traffic across its network. Furthermore, leveraging its Liquid Core portfolio, NSN will deploy its Subscriber Data Management (SDM) solution, including the new Home Location Register (HLR-NT) and One-NDS technologies for a centralized database repository that is application-independent.
NSN will also supply its ATCA-based Mobile Voice Core solution, which, in the first phase of deployment, will be implemented with CSFB voice calling capabilities to ensure voice services for LTE customers. In the second phase, NSN will deploy its IMS solution to enable the implementation of VoLTE, providing high-definition voice services to Avantel subscribers.
In addition, NSN will provide its NetAct management system to ensure consolidated configuration, monitoring, and optimization of the Avantel radio network and core network. The Performance Manager will provide a 360-degree view of network performance.
The scope of the agreement also includes a full range of services such as network implementation, planning and optimization, systems integration, and network operations, with the OSS being managed by NSN. Support services, including hardware, software, and skills development services, will also be provided to Avantel for continuous operation and optimally trained personnel.
