Manufacturers often have multiple computers, databases, and separate printers for packaging and labeling, leading to inefficiency and duplication of effort. Until now, once a label's graphic design was approved, it was sent to the factory in PDF format to be recreated using different software.

Starting this year, Kallik is using Zatar, Zebra's Internet of Things platform, which allows for the integration of printer applications with other software systems. This enables Kallik to extend the controls and transparency of its AMS360 LAM solution to the label printer, helping medical device and life sciences manufacturers eliminate costs, complexity, and regulatory risks.

Kallik AMS360 is a powerful cloud-based label management and graphic design system that allows all visual elements of packaging, product labeling, and user data to be intelligently and automatically managed from a single central database.

Zatar is an IoT-enabled software platform that helps manage device networks and simplifies application creation.
