The agreement includes the installation of the Neptuno multichannel signal recorder - developed by engineers from Indra's Leon center - in the new communications room of the Local Police in order to ensure the recording, digital storage and playback of calls made to 092 and 112 as well as the radio lines used by the agents.

Thanks to this system, all calls can be quickly retrieved for later review, if required, following any type of incident such as natural disasters or legal proceedings. Indra's system is adapted to the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) DMR standard, which the Local Police will soon begin using for their radio communications.

The initiative aims to enhance technological development within the León Local Police by providing them with the most advanced security tools and increasing Indra's collaboration with Spanish law enforcement agencies.
Indra launched Project Neptuno to address recording needs in various security sectors. These include air traffic control centers, both civilian and military, and the national communications network used by law enforcement. Additionally, the integration of these recorders can be applied to call centers, market operations centers, emergency response centers, and port or rail control facilities, among others.
