Amphenol TPC Wire & Cable's Chem-Gard 200 cables, now available from Mouser, are chemical-resistant cables with a rated temperature range of -60°C to +200°C. These cables are available in single-conductor, multi-conductor, and individually shielded pair configurations. Featuring a fluoropolymer jacket, Chem-Gard 200 cables offer excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and high temperatures. Their compact design provides a smaller diameter than traditional SOOW cables, making them ideal for applications with limited installation space and conduit requirements.
Quick-Connex cable and plug kits are designed to simplify the replacement of motors, sensors, and control devices with a plug-and-play connection system. Quick-Connex cable kits are made with Super-Trex® Ultra-Gard® portable cable, which offers resistance to tearing, abrasion, impact, oil, ozone, and numerous industrial chemicals. Molded, keyed connections allow for quick installation while helping to maintain a watertight, oil-tight, and dustproof seal.
Quick-Connex receptacles feature a specially composed thermoset elastomer insert that provides a moisture-tight seal. The copper alloy contact pins are silver-plated and machine-crimped to the conductors to ensure corrosion resistance, durability, and reliable electrical performance. An extra-long grounding pin provides a first-in, last-out grounding contact for enhanced safety during connection and disconnection.
Amphenol TPC Wire & Cable also offers a wide range of cable accessories, including Vulko-Wrap™ cable tape, 6:1 heat shrink tubing, Kord-Gard® strain reliefs, and Grip-Seals® cable glands.
The Vulko-Wrap product family includes reinforced wraps and self-vulcanizing insulating wraps, both made from a specially composed synthetic silicone elastomer designed to resist oil, water, ozone, and chemicals in a temperature range of -51°C to +204°C.
Amphenol TPC Wire & Cable 6:1 heat shrink tubing is designed to fit and seal large and irregularly shaped connections, with diameters ranging from 1.7 inches to 4.7 inches. The internal adhesive provides added strain relief, tensile strength, and a seal against environmental conditions. Kord-Gard aluminum mesh strain reliefs and Grip-Seals aluminum cable glands incorporate aluminum compression sleeves and threaded bodies that resist corrosion and withstand harsh environmental conditions. Grip-Seals nylon cable glands utilize a nylon friction ring to provide even compression, helping to prevent sleeve damage while maintaining a secure seal against oil, chemicals, and other contaminants.
