Fanstel's BlueNor family of devices are powerful, highly flexible, and ultra-low-power Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) modules incorporating a Nordic Semiconductor nRF52 system-on-a-chip (SoC) and an Arm® Cortex® microcontroller. The BlueNor BT832 series modules combine a Nordic nRF52832 SoC and an Arm Cortex-M4F microcontroller with 512 KB of flash memory and 64 KB of RAM. All modules feature 128-bit AES encryption and support the NFC-A tag interface for secure out-of-band (OOB) pairing. The BT832, BT832F, and BT832X models integrate a PCB tracking antenna, while the BT832XE includes a u.FL connector for an external antenna. The BT832X and BT832XE modules include a power amplifier, which provides a communication range of 1170 meters for the BT832X module and 1350 meters for the BT832XE module (when an external antenna is connected).

The BlueNor BT832A and BT832AF modules combine a Nordic nRF52810 SoC and an Arm Cortex-M4 microcontroller with 192 KB of flash memory and 24 KB of RAM. The modules integrate a PCB tracking antenna, providing a Bluetooth transmission/reception range of 100 meters for the BT832A module and 270 meters for the BT832AF module.
Fanstel's BlueNor BT840 devices are ultra-low-power BLE modules containing a Nordic nRF52840 SoC and an Arm Cortex-M4F microcontroller with hardware support for DSP instructions and floating-point operations, 1 MB of flash memory, and 256 KB of RAM. The modules also feature an Arm TrustZone® Cryptocell-310 processor, providing a security subsystem. The BT40F module—which supports Bluetooth (2 Mbps, 1 Mbps, 500 Kbps, and 125 Kbps), IEEE 802.15.4 Thread, Zigbee, ANT/ANT+, and proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols—integrates a PCB tracking antenna that supports a Bluetooth communication range of 510 meters at 1 Mbps and 930 meters at 125 Kbps.
The BWG832F is a low-cost Bluetooth 5 to Wi-Fi gateway that relays messages from a cloud server to any node in a Bluetooth mesh, thread, Zigbee, or other point-to-multipoint application. The gateway includes a BlueNor BT832F Bluetooth 5 module and an Espressif ESP8266 Wi-Fi SoC in an off-the-shelf package. With a data rate of 1 Mbps, the BWG832F gateway offers a Bluetooth communication range of 280 meters, making it ideal for home or small office deployments.
Fanstel's BlueFan family of devices is based on Toshiba single-chip Bluetooth integrated circuits. The BH661C is a dual-mode Bluetooth 4.2 module with a Toshiba TC35661 SoC. The module features an integrated chip antenna, SPP and GATT profiles, and Host Controller Interface (HCI) and UART interface protocols.
