Sigfox and Alizent are already working on exploring new opportunities in Europe and the United States:
- Air Liquide: pilot program for tracking gas cylinders and monitoring CO2 tanks
- Tracking of animal vaccine boxes in the United States
- Tracking oxygen cylinders at one of the largest hospitals in Texas
- Preventive maintenance of brewing equipment at the client's facilities
Regarding the agreement reached, Alexis Duret, CEO of Alizent, stated: “We believe that connecting all industrial assets will generate valuable data for our customers. Sigfox, with its unique technology, global network services, support, and competitive pricing, combined with Alizent’s proven capabilities and unique blend of industrial and technological skills, enables the connection of a whole new range of industrial assets for all our customers.”.
Vincent Sabot, Vice President of Sales for Europe at Sigfox, adds: “This partnership with Alizen illustrates once again that the IoT space opens up exciting new opportunities for industry. Sigfox’s low-cost, low-power connectivity is a key tool for companies looking to reduce costs, improve industrial processes, and create new services based on big data.”.
Through this alliance, Alizent is proposing a new type of connectivity to offer new IoT services to its industrial customers, leveraging Sigfox's ability to accelerate the deployment of large-scale IoT solutions. Complementing other technologies that Alizent currently offers its customers—such as 3G/4G and RFID—Sigfox will facilitate digital interactions with millions of industrial assets and hundreds of production plants worldwide, as well as provide real-time visibility into operations.
