Advantech VEGA 7000 is a family of accelerated video processing servers that combine video and IT best practices within a standard platform optimized to efficiently scale the performance of high-density transcoding applications in live OTT and cloud workflows. Up to four VEGA-3318 accelerators can be integrated into a 1U server to deliver up to 32 x 4Kp60 live HEVC profiles per rack unit—the highest density available on the market. This enables energy-efficient and cost-effective large-scale data center deployments that benefit from 20x the rack space and power reduction compared to non-accelerated solutions. Advantech VEGA data center solutions minimize the effort required to Advantech develops by providing a complete software package that includes Linux and Windows SDKs, an FFmpeg plug-in, and OpenStack-compatible virtualization drivers.
