Growth is strong in the booming fiber optic sector. In addition to suppliers, investors such as Deutsche Glasfaser, Deutsche GigaNetz, Unsere Grüne Glasfaser, Plusnet, and VX Fiber will also be present with booths in the two exhibition halls. Following its successful relaunch in 2022, ANGA COM 2023 presents several new features:
International FTTH Summit: The conference program will be expanded to include a high-level keynote address, an international panel discussion, and joint exhibits from network providers and operators on fiber optic deployment across Europe. The new conference track will take place on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Details will be published in March.
Dedicated Media Distribution Area with Streaming & OTT Hub: Within its core areas of broadband and audiovisual media, ANGA COM 2023 will once again feature new TV and video topics. The new hub in Hall 7 will provide smaller providers and startups in the media distribution sector with a plug-and-play solution in a particularly high-end environment with superior visibility. The dedicated area also includes the new Innovation Stage, a presentation and discussion platform for current topics in video, streaming, OTT, and AppTV. Exhibitors can showcase their latest innovations near their booths. This is also where the "NewTV community" gathers for high-profile industry dialogue.
Small Enterprise Park: the new dedicated area offers small exhibitors and start-ups attractive all-inclusive packages at a particularly low introductory price of €2,500. The offer is aimed at small businesses, e.g., in the software or consulting industries, that don't require exhibition space but still want a fixed point of contact to meet with new and existing clients.
Fiber and Municipalities Theme Day: The third day of events, Thursday, May 25, 2023, will be Fiber and Municipalities Theme Day, with free admission to the exhibition and conference. In addition to an update on the gigabit strategy and a range of particularly practical information for municipalities, leading fiber optic network operators will have the opportunity to present their current deployment and financing concepts to cities and municipalities. The conference program partners for this theme day are atene KOM and the VATM association.
