IndrayciscoThe agreement will enable the identification of new business opportunities and the establishment of a joint marketing strategy to promote both companies' solutions in this area. It will also significantly enhance Indra's Cloud Computing value proposition for its clients by reducing costs while improving processes and operations through more efficient use of automation, security, and service reliability.

Both companies will also study the necessary actions to promote Indra as one of the main providers of cloud computing platforms and define a financial model that allows the multinational technology company to cover future platform growth with the best alignment in terms of investment cost and management of the technology lifecycle involved.

The content of this agreement is part of Indra's new strategy to provide cloud computing services to its clients using an advanced on-demand delivery model called FLEX-IT. This model leverages the full potential of the cloud to optimize the delivery of outsourced services in a hybrid environment, aligning the provision of infrastructure and services with the business demands of its clients at any given time.

This solution, based on Cisco's Data Center architecture—which includes the UCS server line and other communications and security elements—facilitates the reduction of capital and operating costs with greater performance and efficiency, enabling Indra to rapidly provision new servers and physical and virtual resources. The new FLEX-IT model is now available to Indra's clients.

According to Regino Moranchel, Executive Vice President of Indra, "In addition to reducing IT service delivery costs, the collaboration with Cisco will strengthen our company's strong position in cloud service provision and ensure its continued growth by incorporating the necessary technologies to support our clients' projects worldwide with greater speed, security, and flexibility."
“We are delighted to be working with Indra to deliver an infrastructure capable of reducing costs, increasing performance and scalability, and adapting quickly to changing business requirements. Thanks to the new cloud environment, Indra's customers will enjoy optimized support that will allow them to have IT resources and services available when they need them, drive innovation, and accelerate time-to-market,” says Jordi Botifoll, Cisco's Senior Vice President for EMEA Southern Region.
