Following Formnext, which announced its US presence last year as part of IMTS, the leading American manufacturing technology trade fair, SPS is now the second format from organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH to expand internationally—a significant step toward the globalization of its event portfolio. Furthermore, this collaboration also contributes to the company's development as a multiplier within key technology sectors and as a pioneer of industry events
between experts and users from around the world.
Given that industrial automation has become increasingly important for IMTS in recent years, industrial automation has been gaining increasing importance in recent years.
With its expertise, Mesago Messe Frankfurt is supporting the organizer, AMT (Association for Manufacturing Technology), in realizing this special showcase of intelligent and digital automation for industrial manufacturing.
Furthermore, given the rapid evolution of automation technology, Mesago Messe Frankfurt's American sister company, Messe Frankfurt Inc., will hold a separate industrial event every two years in Atlanta called "SPS - Smart Production Solutions." The first event will take place from September 23 to 25, 2025.
