The striking 25-room hotel and 650-room complex have been developed by developers COD and Being Development, NH Hotel Group and architects OMA, following a tendering process initiated by the City of Amsterdam and RAI in 2014.

The specially created content will be projected at the nhow Amsterdam RAI hotel from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily during ISE week. The projection screen will be provided by ISE 2019 technology partner and media server and digital display specialist Green Hippo, working alongside production and booking experts LANG, an ISE Platinum Technology Partner and sponsor.

The daily screen will showcase the latest in projection mapping technology and will include live broadcasts from the ISE trade show.

The content for the presentation is being created by 3D mapping specialist Tenfeet, working in collaboration with Green Hippo. This content will focus on the concept of diversity, as well as the inspiration behind the construction and design of the nhow hotel, showcasing popular media manipulation and projection techniques.

The technical planning and implementation of this unique project are being managed by LANG. Their main challenge is transforming the glass façade of the nhow Amsterdam RAI into a projection surface capable of supporting projection mapping. Working with ProDisplay, a specialist in innovative display solutions, the solution involves fully foiling the hotel's glass interior. For the projection, LANG will use 14 Panasonic PT-RZ31K projectors, providing approximately 400,000 lumens. Green Hippo's Hippotizer V4 media servers and 3D mapping applications will be used to map live data visualizations, custom content, and perspective mapping within the hotel.
