Under the agreement, Nokia will supply equipment from its industry-leading, O-RAN-compatible AirScale 5G portfolio. This includes Nokia’s next-generation, high-capacity AirScale baseband solutions, lightweight, high-performance Habrok Massive MIMO radios, and Nokia’s Pandion portfolio of multi-band FDD remote radio heads to cover all use cases and deployment scenarios. All of these are powered by the low-power ReefShark system-on-a-chip technology and combine to deliver superior coverage and capacity. Nokia will also supply its AI-powered radio network management solution, MantaRay NM, which is compatible with all radio and mobile core technologies.

Orange will also be testing Nokia's 5G Cloud RAN solutions.
