The Wi-Fi Alliance, a global association dedicated to seamless connectivity, has confirmed that its two new certification programs, Wi-Fi Certified Voice-Enterprise® and Wi-Fi Certified WMM-Admission Control®, are slated for launch by the end of the second quarter. Their goal is to provide businesses with solutions for improved voice quality and bandwidth management on their Wi-Fi networks.
The WiFi Certified Voice-Enterprise® program is designed to ensure that products meet the requirements for high-quality and secure voice communication in enterprise networks. The program supports fast data transfer between access points and provides voice application management.
For its part, WiFi Certified WMM – Admission Control® certifies that products have enhanced bandwidth tools to optimize the delivery of voice, video, and traffic on WiFi networks.
