This comprehensive training program will begin with an initial series of seminars, held throughout Spain, focusing on Fiber Optics, FTTH Installation, and Data Networks. Specifically, the topics covered will be the following:
- Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks.
- Certification theory and measurements of a real fiber optic (FO) network using the H45 meter.
- Fiber optic processing, handling, and splicing.
- Certification theory and measurements of a structured cabling network.
The following practical exercises will also be carried out:
- Certification and measurement of fiber optic networks using the H45 meter.
- Applications of the H45 meter's fiber optic interface in coaxial extension networks with fiber optics.
- Fiber optic splicing and a practical case study.
- Certification and measurement of structured cabling networks.
In a second phase, training courses will be developed focusing on other subjects, with the aim of fully meeting the needs of professionals as they adapt to the new regulations.
Televés' collaboration with Fenitel is part of the company's commitment to providing maximum support to installation professionals at this time, when they must confront new concepts and technologies.
Along these lines, Televés already held training sessions in Madrid on October 28th and 29th, dedicated to presenting the main technical and product innovations associated with the sector's new regulatory framework.
The company will also adapt the mobile classroom of the HDTV Tour—the campaign that until now has been dedicated to promoting digital terrestrial television and high definition technology throughout Europe—to support the training of installers in the face of the challenge
posed by the requirements of the future Common Telecommunications Installation (ICT-2). To this end, the classroom's technical equipment will be modified to meet the new requirements.
