In terms of their mechanical properties, the Matrix MXE-5300 processors are designed to maximize robustness and heat dissipation, and include an anodized aluminum chassis that prevents corrosion. They also feature copper circuitry that replaces wires and stabilizers that make them resistant to vibrations and shocks up to 50G.
The Matrix series computers can accommodate up to 16 GB of DDR3 RAM and, with a solid-state drive, can operate in harsh environments within a temperature range of -20 to 70°C.
