Powered by a 2.0GHz quad-core Intel® Celeron® processor with 2/8GB of energy-efficient DDR3L RAM (expandable to 8GB) and two Gigabit LAN ports, the TS-453mini is a powerful NAS that delivers data throughput of up to 220MB/s. It features numerous hardware architecture innovations, including a quiet and compact internal ventilation system that helps dissipate heat and reduce dust buildup, a tool-less design that allows users to easily remove the magnetic top cover for adding/replacing hot-swappable 3.5" hard drives, and an easily accessible bottom cover for effortless RAM upgrades. Users can connect the TS-453mini to a TV or monitor via HDMI, enabling setup without a network connection, complicated procedures, or networking expertise.
Its total storage capacity can be flexibly expanded up to 96 TB by connecting an 8-bay UX-800P expansion chassis.
The TS-453mini also features an aesthetically pleasing "skyline" LED indicator for the S3 sleep mode notification system.
