This is the first time so many features have come standard on a professional storage device, especially when we're talking about a product designed to meet the needs of corporations within their budget constraints.

The ReadyDATA 5200 has been designed to handle challenges such as:
• Efficiently managing today's massive data volumes with technologies like deduplication and compression.
• Designing simple and effective disaster recovery plans with block-level free replication.
• Facilitating the transition to infrastructure virtualization with 10GbE and virtual networking. Dual 10GbE ports and a virtual networking interface ensure that even in challenging virtual environments, network bottlenecks are a thing of the past.

The ReadyDATA family of unified storage was designed with the needs of a growing business in mind. For example, the ReadyDATA 5200 is a 2U storage device with 12 bays, supporting 1, 2, and 3 TB drives for a total capacity of up to 36 TB. Furthermore, each ReadyDATA 5200 can support up to two expansion chassis, reaching a total capacity of 180 TB; another option is to add new drives while the system is running, enabling rapid, on-the-fly expansion.

With data volumes growing ever faster, the need to find more efficient ways to store and manage data is crucial. Unlike traditional enterprise-level storage, ReadyDATA comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced data management technologies.
Some of these technologies include:
- Compressed storage and deduplication of both block (SAN) and file data (NAS)
- Continuous data protection
- Managed block-level replication over a WAN with cloud-based disaster recovery.
