The adjustments can be made from a computer or mobile phone.
The D CSvideo 3M connects to a USB interface on a laptop or computer using an adapter cable. The installed Compact Connect software displays the video image from the integrated camera, along with a temperature-time graph. The rotary control on the back allows for easy focusing and optimal alignment of the lens with the object being measured.
Further adjustments can also be made in the software. For example, the emission coefficient can be adjusted, and the output signal can be scaled. The software graphically displays the current measured values and saves them for documentation or later analysis.
Alternatively, the pyrometer can also be configured via an Android mobile phone. This simply requires using the IRmobile app, which includes a similar range of functions to the Windows software. The required IR app connector is a connecting cable between the pyrometer and the smartphone, which not only transfers data but also allows the smartphone to power the pyrometer.
The CSvideo 3M is suitable for measuring metals or composite materials, even at low temperatures. Two variants are available with measurement ranges of 50 to 400 °C or 100 to 600 °C. In addition to the analog output, an alarm output is also available, the function of which can be conveniently configured via the software. The integrated trigger function allows for recording captures based on time or temperature, enabling various documentation or quality control tasks.
