Amphenol SV Microwave VITA 67 coaxial connectors comply with the VITA 67 coaxial backplane quick-disconnect standard for analog and RF interconnects. Quick-disconnect coaxial connectors from a backplane or back panel allow technicians to rapidly disconnect and reconnect RF connections, resulting in fast replacement of critical boards and minimizing downtime. Furthermore, using coaxial connectors for RF signals, as opposed to the standard DIN backplane connectors, results in improved channel-to-channel isolation.
Amphenol VITA 67 coaxial connectors provide a robust and durable interconnect solution that meets MIL STD 810 requirements for shock and vibration while maintaining a minimal footprint. A unique SV connector retention system provides significant ease of use when mounting or dismounting the connector on a board.
These VITA 67 connectors are ideal for high-frequency systems and applications where space is limited. The return loss is a maximum of 14 dB, and the isolation is >100 dB from DC to 26.5 GHz. The typical contact force is 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg).
Mounting options for Amphenol VITA 67 connectors include motherboard mounting and card mounting. The connectors are designed for side-by-side deployment with other VITA 67 hardware and can be wired with 0.086-inch and smaller diameter coaxial cables.
