In this context, Industry 4.0 has been at the heart of economic transformation in Europe and around the world for several years. By aligning their cybersecurity efforts with their business strategy, companies can achieve better business results and reap benefits by reducing the costs of breaches by between 48% and 71%.
With this idea in mind, a long-established Italian multinational company in the commercial and industrial lock manufacturing sector, a market leader in the industrial and commercial lock industry, needed to implement a new keyless opening system using Bluetooth technology. The client also required data management, cloud-based monitoring of product performance and usage, and an Android/iOS application.

Based on these requirements, the client contacted Mas Elettronica, who created a fully customized product using a wireless module with integrated data encryption for complete security. Mas Elettronica developed an Android and iOS app that allows users to open and close the lock and manage users, all controlled via the cloud in collaboration with their specialized partners.
This development and collaboration has resulted in a successful device launched on the market that allows doors to open and close in 10 seconds with encrypted Bluetooth connectivity for maximum security, using a single tool capable of controlling multiple locks simultaneously. It also enables automatic control of the opening and closing speed of doors and windows.
Added to this set of features is the ability to update the equipment through a customized FOTA update system that allows for a high degree of scalability in security.
The equipment used consisted of the Frida and Sara SBCs with Anita and Aura modules; you can see these models at https://www.mmc-sl.com/productos?keywords=mas For more information on the range of products offered by Mas Elettronica, you can contact Steliau Technology Iberia at
