These additions to Molex's RF product family demonstrate the company's commitment as a developer and supplier of coaxial connection products and standard cable assemblies, as well as customized solutions for numerous markets, including the military, medical, automotive, instrumentation, telecommunications, and wireless communications sectors.

QMA Push-Pull Replacement for SMA
This product (Figure 1) meets the demand for a QMA push-pull connector that mates with threaded SMA connectors, the most commonly used 50W coaxial RF connectors in the wireless industry. Molex has created a mechanical lock on the male connector that mates with the female QMA connector and will only open when the mating nut is turned. In mechanical tests with a tensile strength gauge, the axial retention value of 355.9 N has been consistently exceeded.

to meet the current performance challenges of the broadcast, TV, and video industries. These passive connectors and coaxial cables cover a significant portion of the typical broadcast transmission line and allow for future bandwidth expansion without requiring changes to the connection hardware.
Connectors
(Figure 2) are designed for microwave frequencies. The threaded coupling ensures uniform contact of the outer conductors, allowing the SMA to minimize reflections and attenuation at higher frequencies while offering a high degree of mechanical strength and durability. Engineered for high performance and low losses up to 27 GHz, these connectors are available in various packaging configurations to simplify assembly into standard hermetically sealed and non-hermetically sealed packages.
Multiport RF SolutionMolex's multiport RF products offer designers a wide range of options and are the ideal solution for applications where package size, quality, high-frequency response, or multiple coupling are critical factors. The multiport connectors on the coupling cable can accommodate a wide range of standard and custom microcoaxial cable sizes, up to RG178. The products are also available with the following features:
- Versions for rectangular through-hole (TH) and vertical SMT printed circuit boards.
