like most Peltier-based cooling units, but its miniature rotary compressor offers a higher cooling capacity of 400W in a similar form factor.
By connecting directly to the 24VDC power supply, the mAC-C-400-24 cabinet cooler can operate independently of the local mains voltage, without the need for an additional power supply.
Peltier-based cabinet cooling units also typically operate on 24 VDC, but in a similar or even larger form factor, they often only offer cooling capacities in the low three-digit range. With a miniature rotary compressor and a custom-designed condenser and evaporator in its high-efficiency vapor compression circuit, the mAC-C-400-24 is suitable for higher cooling capacities up to 400 W, while being smaller in size and weight.

The integrated control system modulates the rotational speed of the unit's miniature compressor, thus maintaining the set air temperature inside the electrical cabinet with an accuracy of ±0.05 K. A fan moves this air at 130 m³/h. To reduce noise levels, the speed of the external fan is PWM-controlled.
The cooler can be mounted on the side or rear panel of a control cabinet and, with its IP65 protection rating when mounted, is suitable for use in the harsh environments typical of industrial production facilities.

The mAC-C-400-24 is IoT-ready: an integrated Ethernet interface allows remote access to system parameters and remote control of the cooling system via a web browser. Alternatively, the unit can be operated via a serial/USB interface or manually.
For customer requirements not met by the mAC-C-400-24, AMS Technologies' thermal management specialists are happy to develop a fully customized cabinet cooling solution and provide comprehensive services from development and proof of concept to series production.
