This unit can be installed between racks and does not require specific cooling knowledge to operate, and it adapts to any server room layout required by IT system administrators.
Positioned within a distribution system that separates hot and cold air according to the different rows (hot aisle/cold aisle), the Liebert CRV draws air from the hot aisle, filters and conditions it, and then sends it to the cold aisle, directing it towards the servers and other IT equipment. This cool air can be directed to the right, left, or both sides, as needed, using integrated adjustable diffusers.
Due to its exceptional characteristics, the Liebert CRV is the only solution designed for conditioning in a typical SMB processing environment of up to 100 m² with a maximum of 30 racks. However, the Emerson Network Power unit can also be used in large data centers to eliminate hotspots, such as those caused by high-density solutions of up to 25 kW per rack.
With the Liebert CRV, small and medium-sized businesses can achieve a substantial increase in energy efficiency, thereby reducing operating costs in IT environments. This saving is largely achieved thanks to the switch to electronic fans and digital displacement technology, which distributes air while maintaining temperature and humidity at the appropriate levels for servers—both parameters controlled by the Liebert iCOM software. This software, in turn, modulates the compressor's airflow and operating capacity according to the actual needs of the IT infrastructure. Through this integrated Liebert iCOM software and the temperature sensors in the racks, the Liebert CRV constantly monitors the heat load generated by the IT equipment and automatically adjusts its operations to provide only the necessary cooling energy, without unnecessary expenses. The Liebert CRV allows SMEs to pay only for the energy they use: the ability to adjust operation according to the actual needs of the IT equipment translates into a significant reduction in energy costs.
Liebert CRV is available in models ranging from 23 kW to 37 kW for direct expansion versions and 40 kW for water-cooled versions.
