The airflow is optimized for server cooling, ensuring that hot air is exhausted from the server through the rear of the CoolServe®. A high-performance heat exchanger absorbs heat from the air and transfers it to the chilled water system.
Cool air is directed to the front of the CoolServe® unit, positioned at the 19"
server rack level. The system is equipped with redundant fans, power supplies (A and B), and internal power supply components, similar to the installed servers.
The internal rack temperature is regulated by a coolant water regulating valve; that is, to save energy, only the amount of cooling water actually needed to remove heat from the rack is routed through the high-performance heat exchanger.
The server air temperature is the regulating parameter.
Optimal component placement is achieved by installing the unit vertically or horizontally.
The electronic module can be removed from the front, allowing easy access to the internal components.
