The goal is to gain efficiency by bringing the air conditioning units closer to the heat sources, absorbing air from the hot aisle and then pumping it, once cooled, to the cold aisle where the servers have their air intake.

The system allows for greater modularity in planning, as it provides the necessary capabilities for the installation date, as well as the projection over time to adapt the infrastructures to future needs.

In this regard, Saifor offers empty modules with the same dimensions, which can be installed in the same row of racks. The advantage is that the hydraulic installation can be planned in the initial phase of the project, while additional air conditioning units are installed only when needed.

The greatest efficiency is achieved in combination with Saifor's CUBO® air containment systems for aisles, preventing the mixing of cold and hot air that can be absorbed by the installed equipment.

Main advantages:
• Ability to create high-density zones within the same row of racks.
• Stable and constant cooling throughout the entire rack height.
• Positioning of air conditioning units on the heat source side.
• Transition from a room-wide air conditioning concept to a more efficient concept: rack-by-row air conditioning.
• Other equipment installed in the room operates at more appropriate ambient temperatures than in cold aisle containment.
• Multiple N+1 or N+2 redundancy options easily implemented by adding more units.
• N+2 redundancy allows for future expansion to the racks in the aisle, eventually reaching an N+1 solution.
• Thanks to aisle redundancy, a unit can be taken offline for maintenance.
• Access to vital product components from the front and rear.
