Excel 2-bracket racks are designed for mounting patch panels and network equipment in an open rack.
The range includes three profiles with different depths: 80 mm, 160 mm, and 420 mm, and the product is available in 42U or 48U. The racks are manufactured from steel and their construction consists of double and triple steel sections for increased rigidity and strength. They are supplied flat-packed and are quick and easy to install.
Excel 2-bracket racks include a vertical cable organizer available in two widths, supplied individually, which can be installed between two racks in a row or in pairs as needed.
Regarding the new products, Simon Robinson, Product Manager at Excel, comments: “Excel’s 2-bracket racks complement our range of cabinets and offer an option for companies with a secure telecommunications room that need to install more equipment in that space.”
Excel’s 2-bracket racks will be available from May 2013 and are described in the new Excel 2013-2014 Product Guide.
