This robust, nickel-plated metal connector offers a reliable 360° connection with EMC shielding, as well as a protective ground connection. In side motor connections, this eliminates the need for a protective ground contact on the motor housing while still ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. The connector is UL94 V-0 approved, the highest flame-resistance rating.
TE's M12 motor connector is available in a field-mountable version. Users can choose between 6-pin (5 + PE) and 8-pin (3 + PE + 4) configurations. TE is also developing a design with a "4.tec" mounting concept that can be automated.
