This new Belden® industrial Ethernet cable is specifically designed for use in Gigabit Ethernet networks, onboard Rolling Stock applications for monitoring, recording, and control systems, multimedia information and passenger entertainment systems, and railway management control systems. For safety and rescue applications, the Belden BE43800 cable is approved according to international railway standards.

The Belden® BE43800 data cable is a shielded, halogen-free Cat 5e Gigabit cable designed to support Ethernet-based networks in railway applications. Both the BE43800 Gigabit Ethernet data cables and the Belden BE43769 100 Mbps data cables offer excellent mechanical strength and a small bend radius for optimal installation in space-constrained applications. They can be used in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +90°C in a wide variety of applications. Signal integrity is ensured through high shielding coverage combined with Belden Beldfoil® technology. Installation is easy thanks to the quick-connect and simple termination. The cables are fully compatible with M12 connectors for field installation or pre-molded cable assemblies.
