This connector is ideal when it is necessary to install a large number of MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors in a minimal space or when there are weight limitations.

The 38999 Reduced Flange receptacle, derived from the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III, incorporates the same inserts, and therefore its pins and terminals are compatible with standard 38999 Series III connectors. Furthermore, it guarantees the same levels of performance and resistance to corrosion, shock, and vibration.

In order to adapt to adverse environmental conditions of all kinds, the receptacle is supplied in numerous different versions and with various materials and surface treatments, such as cadmium, black nickel-zinc, nickel, etc.

The Reduced Flange connector is supplied in three versions to serve all types of applications: crimp, for mounting on printed circuit boards and with an external adapter.
