TE's new circular hybrid connector has 8 power contacts and 4 data contacts and is designed for real-time machine automation applications requiring a high-performance data connection and power up to 10 A. The connector provides highly reliable connection technology and meets the demanding durability and quality requirements of real-time Ethernet applications for industrial automation. Using an adapter platform, the CHC also offers optional inserts with 11 +PE (ground for protection) contacts.
Designed for industrial applications requiring high-speed communication, the new connector complies with the VARAN (Versatile Automation Random Access Network) standard, the industrial Ethernet-based protocol used in industrial automation.
