M12-A data cables with optional DC power supply are suitable for fieldbus applications in industry, mechanical engineering, and automation. Sensors and actuators, for example, can be connected via robust IP67 or IP68 dustproof and waterproof connections.
Metal or plastic encapsulation options are available. O-rings and seals are made of elastomers and epoxy resin, and contacts are gold-plated. All solderable products in the WR-CIRCM12 family have UL94-V0 certified encapsulations, while UL94-HB applies to pre-assembled cables and field-connectable products with screw connections.
The M12-A product group comprises cables with male or female connectors, field-attachable connectors, and male and female connectors for equipment assembly, including, for example, those that can be pre-wired or installed as a THT component on a circuit board.
