Phoenix Contact has expanded its Heavycon EVO range of industrial connectors with a 16A D-size design. The robust plastic housings are 30 mm thick. Swivel cable glands with bayonet locking mechanisms in M20 and M25 allow the cable to exit the housing either laterally or straight.
Thanks to the new dimensions of the mounting gaskets, IP66/NEMA 4X protection ratings are achieved. The rectangular housings of the D series accommodate screw-connect contact supports HC-A10 and HC-A16, as well as crimp-connect contact supports HC-D15 and HC-D25. These new housings are compatible with industry standards and offer high mechanical stability for use in harsh industrial environments.
The housings are available separately or as complete sets of connectors with contact supports.
