In addition to fiberglass-coated cables, stainless steel sheathed cables are also available, such as those used in presses and machining applications. For even more demanding requirements, there are all-silicone cables, silicone-free cables, and PTFE cables. In particularly harsh environments, these can withstand tens of thousands of welding cycles without issue—even at high temperatures.

The connectors for these BCC cables are as robust as the cables themselves. Their bodies are made of a special thermal material: halogen-free, hydrolysis-resistant, flame-retardant, and, of course, resistant to solder spatter. Die-cast zinc nuts with a dirt-repellent PTFE coating are included with the connectors.
